There is enough food in America to feed every man, woman and child, yet 72 billion pounds of food goes to waste each year. Feeding America is a non-profit organization that provides meals for millions of American children and people facing hunger every day, by working with manufacturers, distributors, retailers, food service companies and farmers to gather food before it goes to waste and distribute it to those in need.
